larrymckennacandidLarry McKenna is a world-class tenor sax player and a Philadelphia jazz legend. He has played with such jazz stars as Woody Herman, Clark Terry, Jon Faddis, Buddy DeFranco, Rosemary Clooney, Tony Bennett, Sarah Vaughn and Frank Sinatra. McKenna?s jazz arrangements have featured on “The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson” and in the Nicolas Cage film Birdy, in which he also appeared on-screen and his CD My Shining Hour, a tribute to the music of Harold Arlen, has received critical acclaim from reviewers all across the United States and Canada. McKenna has taught at Temple University, West Chester University and Philadelphia Community College.
